“ No matter the location, Mo' Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food is delicious! We usually opt for the 2 meat choice (steak and chicken). It is generally served with sticky rice and potato salad. Their Teriyaki Sauce is our favorite! I use it whenever preparing teriyaki at home. The staff is generally friendly, knowledgeable and outgoing. Each store has a dining room that is casual, and looks like a surf shop with tall tables or regular. The stores are clean and would be great for date nights, family nights and company pic-nics. We've used their catering services for a successful rehearsal dinner. Always delicious! ”
“ We came in for the first time, and we ordered 2 regular platters so we can try 4 different meats they offered. We ordered the chicken pulehu, chicken katsu, teriyaki steak, and tempura shrimp. We were not disappointed one been. Food was amazing. Then we finished off with their guava cake. Very delicious and perfectly moist. ”

“ This is the best MoBettah's! It is our favorite. We have one near our home but prefer this one and always order when we visit family in the Layton area. Paula, the manager, helped me with an order situation and she was so wonderful. She went beyond what was expected. The food and the service brings us back time and again! ”
“ It's your typical island food. Rice, macaroni noodles drowned in mayonnaise, shredded lettuce, meat, and sauce. The rice is slightly overcooked. I'm not a fan of macaroni salad, but the mayo was better quality than I'm used to, but not enough to change my mind. My wife loves it, though. Shredded lettuce is exactly what it sounds like. I ordered the Spicy Chicken plate, which doesn't actually have spicy chicken. It consists of a portion of Teriyaki Chicken and another of Japanese Katsu chicken, with a side of two spicy sauces (spicy teriyaki, which they called yeoba, and what seemed like a chipotle style mayo). The teriyaki chicken was okay, as was the yeoba sauce. The katsu chicken was a much better dish, but a bit on the dry side, and thus definitely benefited from dipping it in the spicy mayo. Aside from that, service was quick and good. The place doesn't have much seating, so aim for the off hours when it is slower if you plan to dine in. ”

I took my brother here for his birthday, we will definitely be coming to this location again. I love the one in Bountiful, so I wanted to see how it compared, and I was just as happy with both locations. 10/10 would recommend. Thanks for the comfort food. ”
“ This is one of our new favorites. If you are looking for a ton of excellent and delicious food, for a very reasonable price then definitely try this out. Anything on the menu is fantastic. My wife and I shared and still had leftovers for lunch the next day! We love the steak, and the pulehu chicken is amazing. I really like the pasta salad but my wife thinks it has way too much mayo, and she usually asks for extra rice in place of the pasta salad. ”
